On Friday, July 26th, Kids Day at Mid-State Fair delivered a wonderful experience! There was plenty of free, hands-on activities, games, and fun for kids of all ages. The event featured free admission for children 12 and under, a non-profit expo in Mulbeary Park (PRYA was there!), and tractor races. It was a delight for the young and the young at heart. Kids Day, sponsored by KSBY, took place on the final Friday of the Fair, July 26, 2024.

It was lovely!

Natalia Esquivel, Office Administrator at Paso Robles Youth Arts Center, shared her insights, “It was lovely. There was so much to see, the kids enjoyed about eight booths, and some stopped at the PRYA table for crafts! We spoke with many parents about our low-cost, 8-week art classes, and saw the faces of the kids brighten! They were excited to hear their parents thinking about our programs. Even folks without kids there were so happy to see what we do – one gentleman said his daughter grew up loving art and she is now an art professor for adults!”

This year’s fair hosted free non-profit expos featuring organizations that serve older adults, children and families, active-duty military members, and veterans. YAY for the Mid-State Fair, catch us next year!
