FIBER ARTS

Learn to create small works of art made from fabrics and yarns.  In this class, you will learn embroidery, sewing, and weaving techniques.

ADVENTURES ON THE FARM: DRAWING & PAINTING ANIMALS, PEOPLE, & A TRACTOR OR TWO

Join Mr. Joe in an introduction and cultivation of a student’s skill of drawing and painting from observation and imagination.

ART JOURNALING

In this class we will work through the session reviewing art elements and principles. We will document and play with these ideas while creating art journal pages that can be referenced for future projects.

This class will have new concepts that are different from Art Journaling 1 for returning students but is also open to new students who have not taken Art Journaling before.

AP ART: INDEPENDENT PROJECTS

In this class, AP students will plan and create an independent art project.

INTERIOR DESIGN 

In this class, students will work on an independent interior design project. They will also work on decorating our space for our annual fall fundraiser event at the Youth Arts Center

MIXED MEDIA ART

In this class, students will learn basic color theory and will be introduced to different materials and instructed how to use them. By the end of the session, students will create a mixed media piece using what they learned about color and materials.
